Tyce Williamson earned his eligibility for The American Legion from his eight years of active duty service in the United States Navy.  Prior to becoming the Post Commander in June 2023, Tyce served as the Post Sergeant-at-Arms and 2nd Vice Commander.

David Wallace, USN, Ret. 

Dave Wallace is a 20-year retired veteran from the United States Navy. Dave is a past post commander of Lorton Post 162 and Springfield Post 176 and currently serves as Dyer-Gunnell Post 180s 1st Vice Commander since October 2017. He also serves as the Department of Virginia and The American Legion National Headquarters Media and Communication Chairman.

Guillermo Guillén, USA, Ret. 

Guillermo Guillén is a 23-year retired veteran from the United States Army where he served in Armor, Cavalry, and Infantry units in Germany, California, Hawaii, Macedonia, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He has held both the 1st and 2nd Vice Commander offices and most recently the Dyer-Gunnell Post 180 Commander from October 2019 until May 2023.  He also serves as a 17th District Vice Commander and the 17th District and Department of Virginia National Security Chairman, and Consultant on the National Internal Affairs Commission for Membership.  He and his wife Teresa have four children and two grandchildren.

Chris Gallagher, USN, Ret.

Chris Gallagher is a 20-year veteran of the United States Navy where he served as a Naval Flight Officer.  He completed multiple deployments to the western Pacific, the Mediterranean, the Arabian Gulf, and is a veteran of Operation Desert Shield. He serves as the Dyer-Gunnell Post 180 Chaplain.  He and his wife Susan have three children and enjoy spending time at the Outer Banks in North Carolina.

Past Natl Cmdr Dan Dellinger, USA 

Dan received his eligibility to the American Legion through his service in the United States Army, 1971-1985 serving as an Infantry Officer on active duty and later in the Reserves.  He is a past Post/District/Department Commander and served as the National Commander of the American Legion 2013-2014. He currently serves on the National Commanders Advisory Committee.  He's married to his amazing wife Margaret and has two children and a grandson.

Michael Paruti, USA

Michael Paruti is a veteran of the United States Army where he served as an Armor officer in the Pennsylvania National Guard.  Michael has been a member of the American Legion since 1999 and currently serves as Athletics Officer for Dyer-Gunnell Post 180.  He lives in Vienna with his wife and daughter, who are both members of Auxiliary Unit 180.
